Conservation International’s global mission is to empower people to protect our most fundamental needs, such as food, water, and a stable climate for the benefit of all life on Earth.
Conservation International-Singapore is committed to supporting Singapore’s development as a leading hub for nature markets by offering policy advice and channeling capital and investments into nature-based solutions. These solutions include conservation programs that support carbon sequestration, improve food security and community livelihoods, and protect biodiversity in critical ecosystems around the world.
Operating out of Singapore, the Asia-Pacific Carbon Team and the International Blue Carbon Institute were set up by Conservation International to unlock the full potential of nature-based solutions in Asia-Pacific in the fight against climate change. We support carbon project development across a diverse portfolio of nature-based projects with end-to-end technical, financial, and strategic support from project origination through implementation.
We also partner governments, local communities and the global scientific network in conservation efforts of blue carbon ecosystems. In addition to our carbon teams, our Singapore-based freshwater conservation and sustainable finance experts are unlocking new ways to finance ecosystem restoration in the long term.
